Dear Ones:
Beloved, these are trying days; and apart from Heaven-sent intervention, things will get tougher. Paul’s prophetic word in 2 Tim. 3:1ff describes what we can expect in the “last days.” Persecution is up ahead. “Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” The “spirit of Halloween” (name of local store) is indeed a seductive demonic spirit; this seeming “harmless” make-believe day is really a celebration of Satan and death; this includes rituals of abortion and infanticide (infant sacrifice).
Suffice to say, our nation has all but succumbed to this deceptive spirit; in the last two years we have witnessed the blatant attack upon the foundational history of America. We are being led by left-wing radicals who have traded Truth for a Lie! The “spirit of Halloween” is also the “father of liars” (Jno. 8:44). These demonic spirits have for centuries infiltrated our governmental, religious, and educational institutions; it’s evident that the “chickens are coming home to roost!” Consequently, the Democratic “religion,” with its disdain for Biblical truth, has significantly focused on total “legalization of abortion” (killing babies) in this coming election!
Paul also warns that in the last days that spiritual deception will be prevalent in the unsaved; “because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved and for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” (2 Thess. 2:10, 11) Note that deception is from Satan, but delusion is from God who judges hardened hearts! This is serious business and behooves us to shine brightly in this dark world. May God have mercy on America and a “sleeping” Church!
Thank you again for your faithful support at the throne of Grace. I’ve mended from my fall but have bouts of fatigue. I’m blessed and busy, watching the Holy Spirit perform “divine surgery” on precious “street” folks. May God’s joyous presence and power rest heavily on each of you.
