September 2026 Update

Dear Ones:

I can’t believe how far we have drifted from the Biblical, common sense view of sexual (gender) identity! To confuse and pervert God’s creation of male and female is to rebel against God’s divine order. Both sexes are equal before God, but they differ in purpose. To infer that men can “birth” children indicates willful ignorance and rebellion. It relates directly to Satan’s original temptation for Eve to doubt and disobey God’s word with the question, “Hath God said...?” Nothing has changed to this day!

I’ve been grieved to witness the consequences of the “woke” rebellion. Misguided women are increasingly becoming “masculine”; and even more disturbing is the feminizing of men. During World War II we used to sing, “Give me some men who are stout-hearted men who will fight for the right they adore...” Today real manhood is at a premium, not only in our country but in the Church! The hymn, “Onward Christian Soldiers” is rarely sung anymore. Few men can say with Paul, “I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course; I have kept the faith...”

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Gen. 1:1) Then He did something phenomenal; He made man (not dogs and horses, etc.) after His “own image and likeness,” to manage the whole earth! (cf. 1:26) Wow! This man was not some “guru” hippie type dressed in “cut-offs” and sandals; rather Adam was “crowned with glory and honor” as God’s royal representative over this world! (cf. Psa. 8) Eve joined him later as his helpmeet. God’s plan for Adam angered Satan who determined to destroy this first couple in the Fall. (cf. Gen.3)

Jesus, the Last Adam, came not only to pay the sin debt on the Cross; but to reestablish man’s ruling position. Redemption not only cleanses sin, but destroys Satan’s work and mastery over the believer. (cf. 1 Jno.3:8) Men have been called to pastoral leadership in the Church as ambassadors for Christ, supported and complimented by godly and gifted women. The present-day rejection of this divine order has produced great confusion and grief.

Conclusion: Men Wanted! “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you [behave] like men, be strong. (1Cor. 16:13)

Thank you for your intercession for my Mission ministry. In addition, I just started an 8-wk. SS series on Philippians at Calvary Church. The Lord has surely given extra grace for this endeavor which has sparked considerable interest. Gratefully, I’m still mending gradually but still “battling” my unbalanced walking. My love to each one of you!
